  2. Add gin and ice. Shake well until chilled.
  3. Strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice.
  4. Top with soda water.
  5. Garnish with a fresh basil sprig for that extra pop of green and aroma.

Tip: Gently slap the basil sprig between your palms before garnishing — it releases more of that amazing basil scent!

Mocktail Version

  2. Add tea and ice. Shake well until cold.

  • ¾ oz Orange Blossom Simple Syrup See recipe below
  • ½ oz Lemon Juice
  • 2 leaves Fresh Basil
  • 1 cup Soda Water to taste

Hot Method
Heat the water and sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Allow to cool to 160°F to 180°F/ 70°C to 80°C). Add the orange blossoms. Remove from the heat and pour into a sterile jar to steep like a tea. Taste it after an hour to see if it’s at the strength you like. Drain the flowers in a cheesecloth to get rid of all the bits and pieces.
