The Lemon Thyme Spritz is light, bubbly, and infused with just the right balance of citrus and herbs. This cocktail combines lemon thyme syrup with crisp Prosecco and a splash of soda water for a refreshing drink that’s perfect for sunny afternoons, picnics, or a chic garden party.
Unlike my Lemon and Thyme French 75, this spritz uses the herb lemon thyme, not two separate ingredients.
It’s easy to grow at home in your herb garden and even in a pot on your apartment balcony or windowsill.

Twist Ideas
- Berry Spritz: Add a few muddled raspberries or blackberries for color and flavor.
- Citrus Boost: Swap soda water for lemon sparkling water to amplify the brightness.
- Floral Touch: Infuse the syrup with lavender or add elderflower syrup for an aromatic variation.
- Rosé Sparkle: Use sparkling rosé instead of Prosecco for a colorful twist.

Why You’ll Love It
- Light & Refreshing: A bubbly, citrus-forward cocktail perfect for warm weather.
- Herbal Twist: Lemon thyme syrup adds sophistication without overpowering.
- Easy to Make: Only a few ingredients and ready in minutes.
- Versatile Occasion: Works for brunch, outdoor gatherings, or cocktail hour.

Lemon Thyme Spritz Recipe

- Optional garnish: lemon wheel
Instructions
- Add lemon thyme syrup to a wine glass.

Mocktail Version
Replace the Prosecco with non-alcoholic sparkling wine or sparkling water.
The result is still refreshing, citrusy, and elegant — a perfect alcohol-free spritz for kids or those looking to cut back on their alcohol consumption, especially during Dry January.
