Chai Orange Blossom Martini

If you want a cocktail that’s cozy, aromatic, and effortlessly elegant, the Chai Orange Blossom Martini is going to check every box.

It combines the warm spices of chai with the delicate floral brightness of orange blossom water, all anchored by clean, crisp vodka.

You only need three ingredients, but the flavor is surprisingly complex. The chai concentrate brings cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and clove, while orange blossom water adds a gentle, perfumed lift that keeps the drink from feeling heavy.

Why This Cocktail Works

  • Chai concentrate adds warm spice and depth.
  • Orange blossom water brings light floral aromatics that brighten the drink.
  • Vodka keeps the cocktail clean so the spices shine.
  • Shaking cold creates a smooth, silky texture.

It’s wintery without being heavy, floral without being perfumey, and incredibly easy to batch for parties.

The Twist

Want a richer, creamier version?

Add a splash of cream or half-and-half.

It becomes a spiced, floral dessert martini with a velvety finish, kind of like a White Russian cocktail, but so much better.

Mocktail Version

Replace vodka with non-alcoholic vodka OR omit vodka entirely and increase chai concentrate to 1.5 oz. Shake the same way and garnish as usual. Orange blossom water keeps it bright, and is naturally non-alcoholic.

Home Bar Tips

Use high-quality chai concentrate.
Look for one that’s spice-forward and not overly sweet.

Orange blossom water is strong.
Two drops is plenty. Too much can take over the entire drink.

Chill your glass.
Martinis taste better—and stay colder—served in chilled glassware.

Shake hard.
Martinis should be very, very cold.

What If I Don’t Have…?

No orange blossom water?
Try:

  • A tiny drop of vanilla extract
  • A splash of orange liqueur
  • A small piece of fresh orange peel expressed over the glass

No chai concentrate?
Use strongly brewed chai tea, lightly sweetened.

No vodka?
Gin adds botanical depth.
Rum makes it warmer and more dessert-like.

Troubleshooting

“It’s too strong.”

  • Add 0.5 oz more chai
  • Shake longer for more dilution, but watch that it doesn’t get too watered down

“Too sweet.”

  • Use unsweetened chai
  • Add an extra drop of orange blossom water

“The flavor is muted.”

  • Use a stronger chai concentrate
  • Increase orange blossom to three drops (but be careful!)

“It tastes flat.”

  • Add a squeeze of lemon twist oil over the top
