Cheers, and Welcome to Twist Cocktail Recipes!
At Twist Cocktail Recipes, we believe cocktails should be fresh, easy, and a little bit magical—without a shopping list a mile long or a liquor cabinet that needs its own room.
If you’ve ever been frustrated by cocktails that are too sweet, too complicated, or just too over-the-top, you’re in the right place.
Here, we focus on vibrant, seasonal drinks you can actually make with ingredients you can find at the store—or even better, grow at home. (Even if your “garden” is just a few pots on a sunny balcony!)
I started Twist Cocktail Recipes because I love cocktails…but I don’t love the clutter (or cost) that comes with buying obscure bottles you’ll use once and then forget. Living in sunny California, I’ve filled our small city lot with fruit trees, vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers—proof that you can build a cocktail garden no matter where you live. A simple syrup here, a fresh herb garnish there—and suddenly, your home bar feels downright inspired.
You’ll find a little bit of everything here:
• Classic cocktails with a fresh twist
• Seasonal sips that celebrate what’s growing now
• Original creations inspired by travel, gardens, and great happy hours
• Mocktails and garden drinks (because not every celebration needs booze)
• Easy, small-batch syrups and infusions you’ll actually use
• Cocktail travel guides to the best bars and distilleries worth visiting
• Alcohol reviews and home bar tips to keep it simple and delicious

Our style?
Fresh, herbal, vibrant, savory, and never too sweet.
Simple, but a little fancy when you want it to be.
Always approachable, and always focused on making cocktails fun again.
I mostly lean into gin and whiskey (hello, favorites!), but you’ll find a little bit of everything here. I can’t personally drink tequila or mezcal, but lucky for me—and for you—my husband and friends are happy to be my taste testers.
When I’m not mixing up something new, you’ll probably find me traveling, building out my tiny-but-mighty driveway garden, propagating new plants, or ferrying kids around town. I also love scouting out cocktail bars wherever I go to see what creative drinks local bartenders are shaking up.
So grab a glass, pick a recipe, and let’s make something amazing—one twist at a time.
